ABOUT monument coffee
Monument Coffee started life in 2015 as a mobile coffee and hot drinks unit, operating from a van and gazebo, serving mainly at metro stations and business parks across the North East. As we developed it wasn't long before we were spending more time at events than anywhere else.
Since then we have traded at just about everything the region can throw at us, from Tall Ships Regattas to RAF officers' mess nights and plenty in between. We have even fed the cast and crew on location for Ken Loach's movie 'Sorry We Missed You'.
In 2022 we moved into a full trailer unit. That gave us the space to increase our menu and add milkshakes, boba and iced drinks as standard, and opened the door to a much wider range of events across the whole year, especially high footfall events like festivals.
Today we serve probably the most comprehensive coffee menu in the region, a huge selection of teas and hot chocolates, and a variety of milks as standard. Whatever the event, and whoever turns up to it, there is something on the menu for everyone.

OUR JOURNEY SO FAR
TRADING SINCE 2015
We started Monument in 2015, originally trading at metro stations and business parks across the North East. It was about building a solid foundation and serving good coffee to people on their daily commute. Early mornings and reliable service got us going and helped us develop
ACROSS THE REGION
We grew into events across the region, from markets to scare attractions, even film locations providing a daily coffee fix to Ken Loach and his team. Taking our operation on the road allowed us to bring proper coffee to locations and events that often go without.
THE TRAILER UNIT
We expanded into a trailer unit in 2022, this allowed us to add a fridge freezer, blenders and extra equipment and in doing so we increased the menu to include milkshakes, Boba and Iced drinks. This in turn opened up more events to use in particular festivals and high footfall events where speed of service is vital.

Our mini Dutch pancakes come in generous portions of ten, offering a playful sweet break for your guests.

We trade at a wide variety of events across the region, including markets, food festivals, music festivals and charity events. You will also find us at medieval and vintage events, Christmas light trails, scare attractions, expos, conferences, car and truck rallies and beer festivals.
